A high-level exploration of a mobile service to organize family matters in a local network.

The application connects existing services and integrates them into a unified user interface.

UX/UI Design

Prof. Michael Herzog

Famly was developed in a one week project to explore new prototyping tools and get familiar with the material design language.

I used the week to put design-thinking methods in a short and intense design sprint. It showed me the limits and possibilites of these methods and enabled a high-level exploration.

The family network offers the possibility to integrate smart home services and to manage them through a unified user interface.

The calendar as the core function allows to set up appointments and manage tasks which can be assigned to family members and filtered accordingly. An integrated messaging app allows to send texts, photos and documents with different levels of access authorization. The integrated mail client enables communication with external services.
